At Smith’s Surplus and Supply we painstakingly inspect every piece of Army Surplus gear that comes through our door using our 4 point system. We check every nook and cranny of our assault packs, backpacks, MOLLE pouches and every component of our FILBE systems. We inspect all of our military field gear, sleep gear and tarps for wear, holes, tears and staining. As we inspect we grade each item and sort them by condition / grade. We test all pieces of hardware, zippers and buckles. We pride ourselves on our ability to deliver accurate descriptions of our merchandise so you know exactly what to expect when your package arrives.

GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR

All our US Military Surplus Field Gear is graded into as many as four tiers. Premium, Very Good, Good and Fair. Premium is New or Like New. Very good is gear in above average condition with some signs of use but void of any major defects. Good is just that, this gear will have some character but is 100% functional. It may have slightly deeper abrasions and some wear in high stress areas but has plenty left to offer. Fair, items in this grade need a bit of love. These guys maybe missing a buckle or a snap and have more scars than their counterparts, they may not be pretty but they will get the job done. Some repairs may be needed.
