ACUPATCH Tarp Repair Kit

Upgrade to Smith’s Surplus ACUPATCH Tarp Repair Kit. Made from USGI ACUPAT Reversible Field Tarps. Repairs will blend in perfectly. ACUPATCH Tarp Repair Kit contain 18 patches in 3 different sizes, .85fl oz of Smith’s Surplus Repair Kit Adhesive and adhesive spreader are neatly packed in a crush proof screw top PET Test Tube. Available in Desert Sand and Foilage Green!

The ACUPATCH Repair Kit can also be used to repair your Improved Combat Shelter ( ICS Tent ). The adhesive is also a standalone seam sealer and will work perfectly on the Orc Industries ICS tents.

The ACUPATCH printed instruction insert doubles as an adhesive spreader. Tear along the perforation and use the piece to spread the repair kit adhesive. The 1” disc ACUPAT patches are great for small holes. Adhesive can be used as a stand alone treatment for pinholes.

ACUPATCH Repair Kit Instructions:

All surfaces should be clean and free of dirt, grease and oil. Best if used between 50°F and 90°F. Use in a well ventilated area. Avoid breathing adhesive vapors and prolonged contact with your skin. We found that Isopropyl rubbing alcohol works really well to clean the patch area. Chemical cleaners may damage the urethane coating on the tarp. Always test cleaner in small area.

1. Apply adhesive to each surface to be bonded.

To maximize bond strength: Wait approximately two minutes for adhesive to partially dry before joining surfaces.

2.Press surfaces firmly together.

NOTE: Bond forms immediately and can be difficult to reposition. Cure Time Dry to touch in 5-10 minutes. Allow for a minimum of 24 hours for full cure. Cure time may increase with lower temperatures and when used on non-porous surfaces.

Storage Tips

After each use, wipe nozzle with a dry cloth and tightly replace cap. Store in a cool, dry location. Tip: For easier re-opening, apply a thin coat of petroleum jelly to the threads before replacing cap. Store away from children and animals.

Clean-up

Wipe uncured adhesive with a dry cloth. **Warning chemical cleaners may damage the urethane coating used on the Reversible Field Tarp.
