MARPATCH Deluxe Tarp Repair Kit

The MARPATCH Deluxe Repair Kit  is comprised of two MARPATCH Repair Kits packed into a Coyote Brown Double Mag Pouch for convenient storage.

Pull that duct tape off your MARPAT Reversible Field Tarp and upgrade to Smith’s Surplus MARPATCH Tarp Repair Kit. MARPATCH Deluxe Tarp Repair Kit patches are made from real USMC MARPAT Field Tarp. Repairs will blend in perfectly without any tape residue or patches that stand out.

The MARPATCH Deluxe Repair Kit instruction insert doubles as an adhesive spreader. The 1” disc MARPAT patches are great for small pinholes. Glue doubles as a seam sealer. Adhesive will even work underwater! Bonds in minutes fully cured in 24 hrs.  Adhesive remains flexible in freezing and hot conditions. Re-use the test tube  for storing small items.

• Crush proof test tube case
• Instruction Insert / adhesive spreaders
• 24 x 1″ Disc / Dot Patches
• 8 x 4″ x 2″ Rectangular Patches
• 4 x 6″ x 3.25″ Large Rectangular Patches
• 2 x .85fl.oz / 25ml Adhesive

Instructions:

All surfaces should be clean and free of dirt, grease and oil. Best if used between 50°F and 90°F. Use in a well ventilated area. Avoid breathing adhesive vapors and prolonged contact with your skin. We found that Isopropyl rubbing alcohol works really well to clean the patch area. Chemical cleaners may damage the urethane coating on the tarp. Always test cleaner in small area.

1. Apply adhesive to each surface.

To maximize bond strength: Wait approximately two minutes for adhesive to partially dry before joining surfaces.

2.Press surfaces firmly together.

NOTE: Bond forms immediately and can be difficult to reposition. Cure Time Dry to touch in 5-10 minutes. Allow for a minimum of 24 hours for full cure. Cure time may increase with lower temperatures and when used on non-porous surfaces.

Storage Tips

After each use, wipe nozzle with a dry cloth and tightly replace cap. Store in a cool, dry location. Tip: For easier re-opening, apply a thin coat of petroleum jelly to the threads before replacing cap. Store away from children and animals.

Clean-up

Wipe uncured adhesive with a dry cloth. **Warning chemical cleaners may damage the urethane coating used on the USMC Reversible Field Tarp.
