The MSR Inline Micro Filter connects between your military hydration reservoir and drinking tube. Filters out bacteria, protozoa and sediment from unknown or untested sources of drinking water. Only a part of the UWPS (Individual Water Purification System), and intended to be combined with iodine, chlorine or other similar treatments to remove potentially harmful viruses. However, the built-in charcoal filter will remove the taste/odor created by such treatments, greatly increasing the enjoyment of your drinking experience.
