MOLLE 4000 Airborne Field Pack | Issue

The Issue MOLLE 4000 Field Pack in OCP / Operational Camo is capable of holding 4,000 cubic inches in volume or about 65 Liters, the MOLLE  4000 rucksack is an external frame backpack. The MOLLE 4K features 6 outer compartments that provide an additional storage capacity to the MOLLE 4000 Ruck. The main bag features an upgraded top flap that accommodates ID Panels and now has PALS Webbing for attaching accessories. The main compartment features a zippered “shelf” identical to it’s MOLLE II Large Ruck predecessor. There is a lower zippered storage area on the MOLLE 4000 that is designed to carry the Airborne Jumping Harness components but can be used to carry other items.

Permanently affixed  to the MOLLE 4K main bag are 6 outer compartments. The upper three accessory compartments feature snap closures and will organize smaller items or magazines. There are 3 compartments on the lower half of the MOLLE 4K Ruck. The two on either side and one in the center. The two on the side feature a cinch cord with barrel lock with flip top lid with a side release buckle closure to keep stored items secure. The two pouches are similar in size to the ones found on the old Alice Packs. The center pouch features a small pouch with a velcro flap closure. The main storage area of the center pouch contains a fabric divider and a zippered closure.

The side of the MOLLE 4000 Ruck has additional PALS webbing that can accept Sustainment Pouches or other MOLLE compatible accessories.
