Domestic Shipping Policy

Processing & Shipping Times

Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after payment is received. Please allow for additional processing time during sales, holidays, or high-volume periods. Once processed, orders are shipped using the carrier and service selected at checkout.

Tracking & Delivery

Once your order has shipped, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking information. If you don’t see it, please check your spam or junk folder.

Packages Marked “Delivered”

If your package shows as delivered but you haven’t received it:

  • First, double-check with neighbors or other members of your household.

  • Contact your local post office or UPS location.

  • If you’re still unable to locate it, please contact us and we’ll assist you.

Expedited Shipping Policy

Choosing an expedited shipping option (e.g., UPS 3 Day Select or 2nd Day Air) refers only to the transit time provided by the carrier, not to order processing time at Smith’s Surplus. If your order is time-sensitive, please contact us before placing the order—we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs when notified in advance.

General Expedited Shipping Guidelines

  • Carrier Responsibility: Delivery schedules and estimated shipping times are determined and managed solely by the selected carrier (USPS or UPS) once the package leaves our facility. Any delays caused by the carrier, such as weather disruptions or operational issues, are beyond our control.
  • Delivery Times: Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout. These are subject to the carrier’s service guarantees and coverage in your location.
  • Tracking Information: Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information. You can use this information to monitor your shipment’s progress and contact the carrier directly for updates or concerns.

Shipment to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses

Smith’s Surplus and Supply ships to addresses within the U.S., U.S. Territories, and APO/FPO/DPO addresses. 

Shipment confirmation & Order tracking

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours. 

Customs, Duties and Taxes

Smith’s Surplus and Supply is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.). 

Items Damaged in Transit

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us immediately before filing a claim with the carrier. Filing a claim on your own may void our insurance coverage and jeopardize your eligibility for a refund or replacement. We’ll guide you through the correct process to ensure your issue is handled quickly and within the terms of our policy.

International Shipping Policy

We are now serving Canada, France, Hong Kong, U.K and Germany. Customs, Duties and Taxes Smith’s Surplus and Supply is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).

FREE SHIPPING : Does not apply to orders shipping outside of the USA.
